The CTR or Click Through Rate on mobile phones is about 10% higher than on a personal computer. This is partially due to the fact that text messages are opened almost instantly.
Same as with any other type of marketing, knowing your marketing audience is vital for a successful campaign. A huge benefit of mobile advertising is that you can target your audience very specifically. Even down to which mobile phone they use.
